About
My work is on Service Design with a focus on social innovation processes and sustainability. Particular attention is given to a service design theory and practice based on social innovations to propose innovative business and welfare models. On that, the theme of the quality of interpersonal relationships in services is a key issue to be considered.
I'm a co-founder of the DESIS group - Service Design and Social Innovation Group with Ezio Manzini and Roberto Bartholo. DESIS is based on a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano - INDACO and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - COPPE.
I took my PhD in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano / INDACO – Italy, and a MSc. in Production Engineering at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro / COPPE - Brazil.
